Anies and Jakarta DPRD Sign MoU Related to 2020 KUA-PPAS

Jakarta Governor, Anies Baswedan together with Jakarta Council (DPRD) Chairpersons signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) regarding 2020 budget priorities and preliminary threshold (KUA-PPAS) at Plenary Meeting Room, Jakarta DPRD Building, Jalan Kebon Sirih, Central Jakarta, Thursday (11/28).

The result, 2020 KUA-PPAS has been agreed at Rp 87,956,148,476,363.

After signing MoU, he conveyed his appreciation and hoped this agreement can accelerate the agreement process of 2020 Jakarta City Budget Draft (RAPBD) with the legislature.

"Alhamdulillah, after this agreement, Insya Allah we can accelerate the process until RAPBD completed," he said as quoted from Jakarta PPID Press Conference.

He asserted that his side will announce 2020 Jakarta KUA-PPAS after completing all discussions in DPRD and signing MoU. Then, his side will entry the data for publication.

"Now we are entering the data, it is done after MoU signed. We want to ensure all strategic activities are safe because it is involving enormous public interest," he asserted.

For information, Jakarta Provincial Government fully supports an open, transparent and accountable government, including in each steps of preparing 2020 RAPBD. Its preparation has also been through several procedures based on Permendagri No. 33/2019 about Guidelines for the Preparation of Regional Budget for the 2020 Budget Year.

2020 RKPD documents will be established through Pergub No. 61/2019 about 2020 RKPD on early July 2019 and published via https://bappeda.jakarta.go.id about one week after. This website can be accessed by public and it can be downloaded for free.

After RKPD documents have been established, the next process is to compile KUA-PPAS. 2020 KUA-PPAS draft has been submitted by Jakarta Governor to Jakarta Council (DPRD) through Governor's Cover Letter to the Jakarta DPRD Chairman in early July 2019.

After all the discussion are completed in DPRD, draft document will be published immediately at APBD website (https://apbd.jakarta.go.id) and other related websites according to applicable customs. For every discussion of RAPBD in DPRD is open for public as a form of transparency to the public.
